Orders
  • How do I check status of my order?

    In order to check order status, simply click Here. From there you will be able to check order status, obtain tracking information, and send messages to our friendly support staff. Please note that most orders take between 24-72 hours for processing prior to being shipped.





    Once Logged in: If you order has shipped, there will be a tracking number in the My Account section. In the tracking tab you can click this number and you will be directed to the shipper's website where you can obtain package transit status.




    Please note: Occasionally it may take 24 to 48 hours for the shipping company to update your tracking information. Please allow 24-48 hours once you have obtained your tracking information. If tracking results are not update after this time please email us at support@powersellernyc.com or contact our Customer Support department toll free at 866-898-1052 for further assistance.





    All orders that opt for the Free Ground Shipping (7-14 business day delivery window), may not be updated with tracking until well within that window. These orders ship once the trucking company has enough deliveries in any given area, and enables us to offers these rates.





    All local deliveries (NY, NJ, PA, CT, VA, MD), will recieve notice via phone 24-48 hours prior to attempted delivery. To enquire whether you fall into this category, please contact us via phone or support@powersellernyc.com. Some locations in these state are too far to fall under "local delivery".





    Please Note: All Products that are dropped shipped (not shipped out of our physical location) usually take a minimum of 1-7 business days before tracking information is available.

  • Backordered Item
    If an item is found to be out of stock after an order is placed, we will process the items that are available and ship them.

    You will be notified immediately of the backorder. Orders are not normally held up because of a backordered item, and any such item will immediately ship when stock is available. All product availability is current inventory. However, errors may sometimes occur resulting in a backordered item. Please understand that it is never our intention to charge a customer for orders we cannot ship out immediately.

    Every product on PowerSellerNYC are available and ready to be ordered. Unlike most other Internet retailers, PowerSellerNYC carries a full inventory for every product we sell. In rare cases, however, we may take your order and then discover that the product is not available for immediate shipping (Example, it is Damaged, Defective, Or Oversold). In other cases, there may be a stock glitch in our inventory system, which reflects more stock than we actually have. In the case PowerSellerNYC is not able to ship out the product you have ordered, you will immediately be notified via e-mail that it is on backorder and we will do our very best to fulfill the order as soon as possible. Because of the great deals we offer, many of our products sell out very quickly. We do update our site every day, but there is an inevitable delay in reflecting the fluctuations of quantities of product on hand particularly since thousands of people visit our online store every day.

    Please note that if an item is no longer going to be available, your order will have to be cancelled and credit will be issued back to your credit card.

  • My Order Never Arrived
    If your order does not arrive after the alotted time specified by your shipping method, please check your order status online by clicking My Account. If your status has not changed and you would like to obtain more info on your order please call us Toll Free at 866-898-1052 or email support@powersellernyc.com with your questions.

    Please keep in mind for all dropshipped orders, online order status will not update tracking info for at least 7 business days. Also keep in mind that Ground shipping orders take 7-14 business days for delivery, and for television orders you may not be contacted until 24-48 hours prior to that delivery. Please give at least 17 business days before inquiring about a lost or missing package.

    If you have a tracking number, and your package has not arrived several days after estimated delivery date, please contact the shipper. They will be able to open a tracer on the package, and attempt to locate it. Immediately notify our staff if a tracer has been open. We will be able to process a reshipment. Please note that on tracers, we cannot ship an item until the tracer is closed, and the package has not been recovered.

    If your tracking number shows delivery, but you have not received your item, please contact the shipper, or our support staff. They will open an investigation in which the shipper will come out to your location. You will be required to sign documents stating that the stated delivered merchandise was not received by you. Please note, in such cases we WILL NOT reship the item until the Investigation by the shipper has been closed, and payment has been issued.

  • How do I cancel my order?
    Please Note: Orders cannot be cancelled via email. Emails received with order cancellations will be withdrawn. Customers must adhere to our terms and conditions.

    Most items enter the shipping process a few minutes after your order is billed. You may cancel any order that has not been billed. Once an order is billed and is not voidable, it cannot be cancelled. After that time, you must call our customer service department toll free at 866-898-1052 to request a cancellation number.

    Before your item ships, we will make every effort to honor your cancellation request. All cancellations must be made verbal with one of our customer service representatives and you must obtain a cancellation number for all records. If you do not obtain a cancellation number, your cancellation is not valid.

    If your order has already entered the shipment process, cancellation may not be possible and it might ship despite your request. If this happens, simply refuse the order. Please note that any refused orders will be assessed a restocking fee, with a minimum of 15%, as well as shipping cost. Such fees WILL NOT be refunded.

    Any order that is billed and cancelled will be assessed a 6% fee to cover processing costs.

    Please note: Television orders are billed an immediate 10% to reserve your item at the advertised price. This is due to market fluctuation as well as PCI Compliance Standards with our Merchant Services. The remainder is billed once the television is in transit. Once billed, the 10% reserve is not refundable. As soon as the reserve is billed, they are scheduled to pick up via freight services. They may only be cancelled the same day that the order is placed. After this time, they can not be cancelled. If a television order is cancelled after it is billed and a pickup has been scheduled, you will be assessed a pickup and return fee, restocking fee, and processing fee.

    Please note:If you purchase an extended warranty, once it is billed, information is sent to the respective company regarding registration. If an extended warranty is cancelled after it has been registered, there will be a $50 registration and a $50 cancellation fee.

  • Not receiving emails?
    Please NoteMany times, customers are not getting email from us due to thier own ISP blocking them. Please check your SPAM folders, as well as with your ISP if you are not receiving email confirmation.

    If you did not receive a confirmation on your order, please DO NOT replace the order on-line. If you do, you may end up with duplicate orders and being charged twice, since we use an automated billing system. If you feel your order may have not been received, please call our customer service department toll free at 866-898-1052. If you did not receive an email from us after you placed your order, it is possible our email replies are being blocked by your browser settings. Please check the setting on your internet browser,once you have checked the settings, email us again at and we'll gladly answer your questions.   • I have not received my full order
    If there is a missing item from your shipment please log into your PowerSellerNYC user account to check the status of your order. Some orders may ship separately due to the size of the items. In addition some items may be dropshipped separately due to the location of the items.

    If there is a part missing from a particular product, please contact the manufacturer, as all of our products are in sealed boxes from the manufacturer.   • Accepted Payment Methods
    PowersellerNYC.com accepts the following payment options:

    Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

    Google Checkout: Google Checkout is an online payment processing service provided by Google aimed at simplifying the process of paying for online purchases. Users store their credit or debit card and shipping information in their Google Account, so that they can purchase at participating stores at the click of a button. Google Checkout also offers fraud protection, as well a unified page for tracking purchases and their status. Addresses must be verified and payment guaranteed by Google before we will ship. Please note that Google will give you the option not to disclose your email address. Make sure if you select this option, that you check your google account, as well as your personal email for updates.

    Wire Transfer: A transfer of funds between banks by electronic means. Direct bank to bank transfers are the only method accepted for customers residing outside of the US.

    Paypal: PayPal serves as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders. Please Note that for Paypal payments, we will only ship to Paypal Confirmed addresses. For information on confirmed addresses, please contact Paypal. To pay via Paypal, please select "Paypal" as your payment option. Make sure you use the email associated with your Paypal account. We will send you an invoice with a payment request via Paypal.

  • When Will My Credit Appear On My Account?
    Once an memo is placed for a refund, it will process within 3-5 business days.

    PLEASE NOTE: It can take up to 14 business days for the credit to appear on your credit card and/or bank statement.

  • When Will My Credit Card Be Charged?
    Please note: Television orders are billed an immediate 10% to reserve your item at the advertised price. This is due to market fluctuation as well as PCI Compliance Standards with our Merchant Services. The remainder is billed once the television is in transit. Once billed, the 10% reserve is not refundable.

    Orders for other items wil be billed with the 24-72 hour processing period prior to shipping. This gives time to get the charge through, and verify all of the details. Once an order is billed, it can not be fully refunded.

    For information regarding cancelling an order that has already been billed, please view the "How Do I Cancel My Order?" in the section under Order Status.

  • Shipping to an address other than your billing address
    We understand that many people need to ship items to addresses other than the billing address associated with a credit card. This is called an alternate shipping address in merchant terms. In order to ship to a secondary address, you must add the address on file with your credit card company.

    Adding an alternate address on file with your credit card WILL NOT change your billing address, it is simply a notation attached to your account. Most credit card companies will list it temporarily, and after a short time that address would be automatically removed from the notes.
    The point of adding the alternate on file is that you, the cardholder, are the only one that has the pertinent information that is required to access the credit card. If a credit card happens to be stolen, there is no way for that person to change your credit card information. If we did not have such a system in place, anyone with your credit card details would be able to ship to any address. This is a system that is helping many online vendors combat fraud.

  • Do I Have To Pay Sales Tax?
    Sales Tax applies to orders shipped to addresses in the State of New York. The current tax rate in NY is 8.875%.

    Resellers/Government Agents that are tax exempt: Place your order as normal, and then contact our billing department at 866-898-1052. You may also email support@powersellernyc.com. They will require you to fax a copy of your tax exempt permit/resale certificate, which certifies you as a non taxable entity. We will remove tax from your order at that time.

Claims
  • Delivery and Damages
    Please inspect all merchandise upon delivery, prefferably while the shipper is at your location. If there is any damage to the box or item regardless of how minor, please notate it as such on the shipping documents. If you notice any physical damage to an item, simply refuse delivery. You may then notify us of the refusal, and we can open a claim. Do not refuse a delivery due to box damage unless physical damage it noticed on the item. Please keep in mind that the intent of the box is to protect the unit. So, while the box may have minor imperfections, the internal contents are probably fine.

    Television Deliveries

    Please inspect the box your TV comes in before the shipper leaves your premises. If you discover damage (a crack, seperation, or actual damaged to the unit) or an incorrect item, refuse delivery. The shipper will remove the oversize TV and will return the item to us. Again, do not refuse a television delivery based on scuffs or tears in the outside packaging. The packaging is made to protect the TV during transit. Any television that is refused and arrives at our location with no damage will be assessed a restocking fee. In that case you would also be responsible for any outbound shipping costs associated with the reshipment.

    Please understand that the paperwork you are signing with the shipper states that you have inspected the merchandise, and it is free and clear of any damage, unless otherwise notated. That is why we ask for inspection on your part. It is nearly impossible to open a claim on a television that has been signed for in perfect condition, with no notation of box damage.

    Concealed Damage

    If you have accepted and signed for an item, and there is damage to an item that could not be noticed at time of delivery, we can open a claim under the "concealed damaged" clause offered by all shippers. It allows 24 hours to make a claim from the date of delivery. If concealed damage is found, immediately notify the shipper. This is especially important on a Friday delivery, since we are not open on Saturday and Sunday. After notifying the shipper, contact us. If all instructions are followed as directed, we can get you a reshipment at no cost.

    Damage Claims

    If your item is damaged, we will notify the shipper, and they will schedule an inspection/pickup with you. Once this inspection/pickup has been done, we will process you for a new shipment. A claim will be submitted, which our team will handle.

    PLEASE NOTE that our shippers only give us 48 hours to notify them of damage. After this amount of time, they reserve the right to deny any claim. We will still process the claim, but if they deny it, we cannot reship or credit. We will accept NO LIABILTY if you do not notify us of damage within 48 hours of delivery. If we are not notified within 48 hours, any insurance that has been paid will be null and void. Insurance is waived after this grace period. This is the policy of our shippers, and we have no control over this.

    Dropshipments and PowersellerNYC:

Your name, telephone number and shipping information must be provided to third party shippers such as UPS, Federal Express and the United States Postal Service to deliver your purchase. Private freight companies will also receive this information.

Returns
  • Return policy
    To return a product, an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization ) must be obtained from one of our support representatives which can be reached at 866-898-1052. If our support team is not available during normal business hours, please email us with full details as to why you want to make Your Return. Send the email to support@powersellernyc.com . A response will be emailed within 24-48 hours. RMAs will not be issued via email, but you will be contacted via phone.

    We are not responsible for any items returned without notification or without a valid RMA. You must contact us via phone or email to request an RMA and to get the correct shipping address ( we have different shipping locations. The corporate address listed on your invoice is not for returns under any circumstances. We are not responsible for items returned to that address.

    Returns must meet all applicable criteria: Please be advised if your returned product does not match all applicable criteria listed below, it will be rejected by our Returns Warehouse and returned back to you. Consequently, your RMA will be nullified and any credit request will be denied and any replacement order will be cancelled. Our arrangements with suppliers and manufacturers allow us no room to make exceptions. In addition, we reserve the right to chargerestocking fees on any return that does not meet any of our criteria.

    Unless otherwise stated, you have 10 days from the date that you have taken delivery to get a valid RMA from our website and get your product to a shipper to return back to us. It does not have to be back in our warehouse within 10 days, but it does have to be in the possession of the shipper (along with the valid RMA) within 10 Days. No longer then 21 days from the date of purchase.

    The issued RMA number must be visible on the shipping label only (no writing on the manufacturer box. Shippers will give you an option for a reference number on all labels, and that is where you should input the RMA number.

    PowersellerNYC.com has an exchange only (for same item) policy. We do not accept any returns for refund.     Please note: If a Television arrives defective or requires service within 10 days of receipt, it can not be returned, and must be serviced under the manufacturer warranty.     IF THE SHIPPER LEAVES, AND WHEN YOU UNCRATE THE PACKAGE YOU DISCOVER DAMAGE, IT IS COVERED UNDER OUR CONCEALED DAMAGE CLAUSE. WE CAN CLAIM THIS, AND GET IT REPLACED TO YOU AT NO COST.
